It’s not your Garmin. It’s not Strava. It’s not your average speed. It’s your fellow cyclist. Your fellow cyclist wants to make you feel like you’re not fast enough or not pro enough. You don’t have to crush it on Saturday AND Sunday. You don’t have to “just get the starts” so you can cat up. Your fellow cyclist is the one that tells you that race weight is more important than fun. So it’s time to tell your fellow cyclist to relax, look around more on a ride, and to stop being so fucking serious.
